AXE Ventures is a startup accelerator focused on AI and deep tech. Rather than relying on document review alone, we invest after testing and validating a prospective company's technology directly.
Direct Tech Verification
Before investing, we integrate with a company's technology through its API or test it for several months in a live environment. Data and observed performance inform the investment decision.
We also speak with customers or counterparties, conduct on-site due diligence, and use the product or service ourselves. Even at the early stage, we build quantitative models covering market size, market share, projected P&L and cash flow, and valuation at exit.
AI & Deep Tech Focus
We focus on early-stage companies in AI, data science, fintech, and other deep-tech fields. The technical capabilities developed through operating our proprietary AI investment engine, Prj. Artemis, also inform how we evaluate portfolio companies.
Our principal investment stages are:
- Seed — We make an initial investment based on the technology vision and the team's potential.
- Pre-A / Bridge — We provide additional capital to companies that have completed technical validation, helping them commercialize the technology and secure the necessary licenses.
- Series A — As companies begin generating revenue and expanding in the market, we connect them with follow-on capital and strategic investors.
Active Portfolio Management
After investing, we continue to monitor AUM, returns, and core KPIs. We support portfolio-company growth through B2B customer introductions, outsourced operating engagements, strategic partnerships, and access to follow-on investors.
Technical validation does not end with a pre-investment checklist. AXE Ventures' Technology-First approach creates a cycle in which operating data informs the next investment decision and value-creation initiative.
